Sync Data Between Maxio and Rillet

Control which records move between Maxio and Rillet, and when, using individual sync steps and field mappings. These settings determine what data actually crosses the integration, distinct from the connection and general sync preferences covered in Setup and Configure.
Sync steps
Each sync step can be turned on or off independently. A Get step retrieves records from Rillet into Maxio; a Send step sends records from Maxio to Rillet. Steps marked Toggle and Mappings also have their own field mappings, which control which Maxio field corresponds to which Rillet field.
To edit a step, go to Left Menu > Rillet, click the wrench icon (Integration Settings), then click Settings next to the step in the Synchronization table.

| Get Accounts | Toggle | Retrieves the Chart of Accounts from Rillet and matches or creates the corresponding accounts in Maxio. |
| Get Items | Toggle | Retrieves items (products) from Rillet and creates or updates the corresponding items in Maxio. |
| Send Items | Toggle | Sends items from Maxio to Rillet as products. |
| Get Customers | Toggle and Mappings | Retrieves customers from Rillet and creates or updates the corresponding customers in Maxio. |
| Send Customers | Toggle and Mappings | Sends customers from Maxio to Rillet. |
| Send Customer Updates | Toggle | Updates customers already synced to Rillet, so that changes made in Maxio after the initial sync replace the corresponding Rillet values. |
| Get Invoices | Toggle and Mappings | Retrieves invoices from Rillet and creates or updates the corresponding invoices in Maxio. |
| Send Invoices | Toggle and Mappings | Sends invoices from Maxio to Rillet. |
| Update Invoices as Sent | Toggle | Marks an invoice as sent in Rillet once it's actually been sent to the customer in Maxio (by email, the billing portal, or e-Bill) or has a payment applied. This moves the invoice out of Unbilled status in Rillet, which allows a payment to be recorded against it there. |
| Get Credit Memos and Refunds | Toggle and Mappings | Retrieves credit memos from Rillet, including Rillet credit memos in a Refunded state, and creates or updates the corresponding credit memos in Maxio. |
| Send Credit Memos | Toggle and Mappings | Sends credit memos from Maxio to Rillet. |
| Get Payments | Toggle and Mappings | Retrieves payments from Rillet and associates them with the corresponding invoice in Maxio. |
| Send Payments | Toggle and Mappings | Sends payments from Maxio to Rillet, recording them on the associated Rillet invoice. Requires Payment Account to be set. See Configure the Rillet Integration. |
